Know what these tools can tell you.
The assumptions and limitations of the free calculators and diagnostic tools. Understand how to use your results before making a business decision.
A useful starting point.
These tools organise the information you provide into calculations, prompts or a transparent diagnostic rubric. They are not independent audits, valuations, credit scores or predictions of business survival.
Before using a result
- Check the period, currency and units of every input.
- Read the formula and assumptions shown on the tool page.
- Distinguish a measured fact from an estimate.
- Test more than one scenario where a decision is sensitive to an assumption.
- Take important financial, tax, legal or employment decisions to an appropriately qualified adviser.
AI has a separate role
AI interpretation can suggest questions or actions. It may misunderstand the context or produce an inaccurate explanation. Deterministic calculations do not depend on the AI response. The interface identifies which type of output you are reading.
No guaranteed outcome
A readiness score does not establish eligibility for a particular funding programme. A cost estimate does not verify current statutory obligations. A growth assessment does not promise demand, profit or execution capacity.
Keep the evidence
A good next step is often to improve one input, check one source record or test one operational assumption. Use the result to ask a better question, then build the evidence needed to answer it.
